Use Turmeric Before Ever Swallowing Painkillers Again

Millions of people instantly turn to painkillers to ease their pain and initially stick to the recommended amount, but when these medications fail to provide effects, popping a few more is common practice.

Consequently, the FDA has ramped up its warnings about the risk of drugs, such as Advil, Motrin,   Celebrex, Aleve, Naprosyn, and Toredol, and their possible contribution to heart attacks and strokes.

The side effects of these drugs are serious, and it has been estimated that they cause at least 16,000 deaths per year and send 100,000 people to the emergency room in the United States.

Manufacturers of prescription NSAIDs are required to update their labels with more accurate information about heart attacks and stroke risks, digestive ulcers and associated bleeding.

Researchers have also found that their ruse can also lead to conditions, like atrial fibrillation, kidney damage, delayed healing of fractures and soft tissue injuries.

When we consider all this, it is much wiser to turn to natural pain relievers instead, isn’t it?

Natural remedies do not cause any of these side-effects and very often, they are already found in our homes.  Turmeric is one of the most powerful natural pain relieving remedies, which safely alleviates aches, without causing any adverse effects.  Its anti-inflammatory properties are due to the presence of curcumin, a potent antioxidant.

The Alternative and Complementary Medicine Journal published a study which found that it is as effective as ibuprofen in the treatment of osteoarthritis, due to the strong anti-inflammatory properties and its ability to modify immune system responses.

Researchers have confirmed that curcumin lessens the severity of symptoms associated with premenstrual syndrome (PMS), including several forms of pain, like backache, headache, breast tenderness, and abdominal pain.

Additionally, the Journal of Oral Rehabilitation published a study which found that turmeric can relieve the dental pain associated with post-surgical removal of impacted third molars (i.e., “wisdom teeth”).

Curcumin also shows promise in the treatment of tendonitis, which is a painful condition characterized by inflammation or irritation of a tendon. Researchers who conducted a study published in the Journal of Biological Chemistry examined its effects on human tendon cells and found that it staves off pain by preventing the activation of certain inflammatory molecules.

Turmeric can be used in endless ways to improve health, as it treats liver issues, gallbladder disorders, stomach pain, arthritis, heartburn, diarrhea, gas, and more.

Therefore, next time you suffer pain in the body, try turmeric before you reach for pills, and you will experience relief in a very short time!
