“The people in your life are like the pillars on your porch. Sometimes they hold you up, and sometimes they lean on you. Sometimes it’s enough to know they are standing by. “ -Merle Shain
Throughout life, we meet all kinds of people. Some of them just cross our path, others teach us valuable lessons, and some are here to stay. Live is about creating bonds and developing relationships that help us grow and push us into expansion.
These are some people everyone will benefit from having in their lives. If you have already met them, make sure you appreciate their presence in your life. In case you haven’t found them yet, be patient, and they will arrive at a perfect moment in life.
These are three types of people that everyone needs in life:
1. The mentor, as this person is your guardian through struggles and growth spurs. Their wisdom is invaluable, and they teach us valuable lessons in life. They inspire us, encourage us, and provide groundedness and feedback.
This person can be an older friend or a neighbor, a grandparent, a colleague, or anyone who’s only a few steps ahead of you in life. The mentor will always guide you in the right direction.
2. The soulmates, as they reveal the sense of our life. The moment you meet your soulmate, you feel an instant connection. These people love us unconditionally, care for all our needs, understand us completely, support us, and inspire us. Your soulmate might not be your partner, but a mother, a sibling, or a best friend.
3. The opposite, who will question your dreams, and doubt your ways, but has good intentions. A person who holds opposing views will force you to leave your comfort zone, open your eyes to different world views and learn to accept differences.
These people stimulate you to become better and remain true to yourself. These people are straight-up honest with you, and their impact transforms you in various ways.
