The tiny housing trend has brought up some pretty fabulous new ideas on the market. Tiny houses have taught us that everyday living can be just as cozy, modern, and luxurious in a limited space, even if we don’t own a huge house with a backyard!
Living in a limited place has its pros and cons, of course. You might find it challenging to adapt to the smaller rooms, and having friends over might not be as easy as previously.
Yet, tiny homes are a wonderful opportunity to have an affordable home. They are easier to clean, help you collect less clutter, they are beneficial for the environment, and will help you save a lot of money.
Even if you weren’t into living in a tiny house until now, the newest model of a Singapore company, Nestron, will surely charm you! Not long after the introduction of their Cube 1, they released the prototype for their amazing creation, the Cube Two, and it is amazing!
It resembles an upgraded RV from the outside, but inside, it is a truly futuristic place!
The 263-square-foot home has a large communal living space, a kitchen with a range hood and sink, a bathroom, a bedroom, and a bar counter.
The home is nine yards (eight meters) long and four yards (3.6 meters) wide. According to the Nestron’s website, its open-concept design increases it’s usable space by fifteen percent when compared to a traditional home.
Moreover:
“C2 is built to accommodate 3-4 members medium-sized households, designed with an open concept and a bigger living room area for more entertainment and fun-time activities with your loved ones. We also designed a special skylight dome for C2, allowing families to share the fun of star-gazing and satisfy children’s curiosity of nature and the universe. “
Most of the furniture is built-in and included in the price, and as the company adds:
“We made sure you can move in the day your house arrives. Simply unpack, plug, and live.”
A skylight adds light and opens up the space, and there are also light fixtures. Also, the company has planned plenty of built-in storage for various items.
All appliances are smart, so the washing machine, refrigerator, AC, and stove are all connected. Plus, they are all controlled by Canny, the AI assistant!
Incredible!
If you have already fallen in love with it, you can pre-order it for a base price of 52 thousand dollars, before any add-ons.
You can get a few upgrades too, like a solar system, that will add 7.5 thousand dollars to the price, or an electric heated floor for an additional nine thousand dollars.
The shipping to the U.S. costs about eight thousand dollars. Yet, even if you get the add-ons, you won’t pay more than 70 thousand dollars!
