Blogger “Bruce Super Convenience” put his hands on some creamy white Nutella spread, and fans love it
Would you replace your mouthwatering chocolatey Nutella with its white sibling? Blogger “Bruce Super Convenience” shared a photo of a jar of white Nutella, and Internet users went wild.
The spread in his jar was a creamy white instead of the well-know hazelnut milk chocolate flavor.
“Let’s just take a moment to look at this picture, and appreciate this unicorn of a snack,” Bruce said. “This blessed jar was sent to me by @thesnackcontroller -- and I need to thank his/her/their beautiful soul for creating this thing of beauty, and sending me one.
This jar, with that logo so famous, is found on shelves ALL over the world. But alas, it’s always a dark brown colour … milk chocolate flavour. This one has a white -- slightly golden -- colour, and even look at the toast in the picture, it has a white spread on it!”
According to him, this jar was actually sent to him as a sample of the product. He received it from fellow food blogger The Snack Controller.
Here comes the bad news. This white Nutella is not available for purchase. No, you can’t put your hands on it.
“Ok, I’m going to be bombarded with messages and DM’s, so let me answer right now -- no, this is not a real product, and no, you cannot buy your body’s weight of this product!”
This white Nutella attracted the attention of so many people. Bruce’s photo went viral, and pretty much everyone agreed that getting one of these would be like a dream come true.
Queensland food blogger “The Snack Controller” made the product using a simple recipe from another Instagram user – “aufstrichqueen_vera.”
To make this, you need two blocks of white chocolate, a bag of Kinder white Shokobons, a scoop of hazelnut butter and a drizzle of the oil, some hazelnut syrup, and sunflower oil.
“Now I don’t put heaps of oil or preservatives, so it will harden. Make it to your specifications. Mixed it by taste and then put it in jars. Mine went hard and weird looking after it sat in the jar (hence no preservatives and not much use of the oil) but I warmed it up and it comes back good as new.”
If you like your Nutella smooth, add more oil.
Would you eat this? What’s your favorite Nutella combo? You can pour it on cheesecakes, you know…
