What is consciousness? How does it operate, where does it originate from?
How powerful is it? Is the mystery around it close to being revealed?
Neuroscience has made great progress over the years, but there are numerous fundamental questions about our brains that are left unanswered. Over the last 100 years, research has found that neurons in the brains of mammalian could produce photons of light, or “Biophotons”.
The photons appear within the visible spectrum, running from near-infrared through violet, or between 200 and 1,300 nanometers.
Scientists believe that neurons might be able to communicate through light. They also suspect that our brain has optical communication channels, but do not know what kind of message can be communicated.
This brings the conversation to a whole new level of operation in the brain.
Moreover, they state that in the case of optical communication, the Biophotons might be affected by quantum entanglement, indicating that there might be a strong like between our consciousness, photons, and what many religious and cultures refer to as Spirit.
Experiments have shown that rat brains can convey just one biophoton per neuron a minute, but human brains could pass over a billion biophotons per second.
This might mean that the more light one produces, the more conscious they are.
Such a correlation might imply that there is more to light that we know now.
In numerous religions and texts since the ancient times, sacred individuals have shining circles around the head, and this circular glow might be due to the higher consciousness they operated with, which in turn, could have caused an increased production of biophotons.
Think about it- even the word “enLIGHTment” suggests a link between light and higher consciousness.
Yet, what scientists overlook is that consciousness and spirit might not be contained within our bodies.
According to Quantum entanglement, two entangled photons react when one of the photons is affected, regardless of the location of the other photon in the Universe, without any delay.
This might mean that photons act as portals that enable communication between the world that exists within light and the Universe, and these biophotons help the communication between our spirit and consciousness.
This might be the reason why many quantum experiments have shown that the state of a photon is affected by conscious observance.
These findings question modern scientific theories that consciousness originates from inside the brain and suspect that we might be something much greater than a brain in a body.
