New Research Says Intelligent People Are Messy, Stay Up Late, And Curse a Lot

According to Genius Tests: “Popular opinion may cause one to believe that those with high IQ scores are gifted beyond reason in their ability to perform intellectual tasks, such as solve complex mathematical and technical problems with little effort.

In reality, intelligence is someone’s ability to acquire and apply knowledge; meaning that someone’s intelligence is more a measure of their ability to adapt what they know to new settings.

However, it is true that the higher someone’s IQ is, the more easily they will be able to pick up new understandings; so people with high intelligence might find it easier to perform in school or at work, as well as pick up new skills more quickly with fewer repetitions. While many may believe that creativity is an absolute marker of high intelligence, there are many more ways signs of high intelligence manifest themselves. “

Well, believe it or not, scientists now maintain that people who swear, are messy and stay up late are actually highly intelligent!

It turns out that people who have a potty mouth acre in fact super intelligent, which is opposite to what we believed in so far. Studies show that a person needs to be intelligent and fluent, with a rich vocabulary, in order to generate a lot of swear words.

Moreover, intelligent people cannot go to bed early, which usually starts in their childhood, since they have a lot of things on their mind.

Finally, scientists believe that being messy is another sign of high intelligence. Actually, these people perceive mess as organized chaos and are anything but conventional. Creative people often work in mess and tend to thrive in disorganized environments. Yet, note that being messy does not mean lazy or dirty, but living in a disorganized clutter.

You surely know messy night owls who swear like sailors, and if you think about it, they are probably ones of the most intelligent people around you.  Yet, note that you can also be super organized, an early bird, with great manners, and still be highly intelligent, but you simply show it in another way.
