Mother and son face felony charges after admitting to consensual sexual act a few months ago.
Cheryl Lavoie, 64, and her son Tony L Lavoie, 43, from Fitchburg, Massachusetts, were accused of incest. Tony lives with his mother, and according to him, it was the first time they had done anything like this.
The local police were alerted and officers came to the address to respond to a disturbance. Tony’s wife had walked in on the disturbing act and then called her cousin. The cousin called the police and waited until they arrive to explain the situation.
Tony and Cheryl admitted to consensual sexual relations after a subsequent interview with the police.
Cheryl explained that they had gotten closer in the past few months. Things just happened after the first kiss. The mother-and-son duo was charged with the crime of incest. The Fitchburg police issued them a summons to come to the District Court on August 20.
They are released on bail and were ordered not to contact one another in the next period. Cheryl and her son pleaded not guilty and will have to appear in the courtroom on October 27 for a pretrial hearing. Tony said he even wanted treatment for his “condition.”
If found guilty, Cheryl and Tony can get up to 20 years in prison.
