The results show that aluminum chlorohydrate, a chemical that is found in antiperspirants, is more quickly absorbed into freshly shaven skin and directly enters the lymphatic system that is connected to the chest.
Here is How To Make a Natural Deodorant
Baking soda, starch and coconut oil are the only things you need to make a homemade deodorant that will keep you fresh throughout the day.
Your deodorant is certainly one of the most necessary cosmetic products. Although today you can find deodorants that do not contain parabens and aluminum (potential causes of breast cancer), you should still be worried about the list of ingredients deodorants usually contain, as it is pretty long.
Fortunately, we can still enjoy the freshness throughout the day without using any chemical-loaded deodorants.
All you need to make this natural deodorant are three easily available ingredients.
Ingredients:
- 1 oz / 20g baking soda
- 0.7 oz / 16g corn starch (You can buy corn starch from here: ARGO Cornstarch -- 35oz )
- 1.5 oz / 35g virgin coconut oil (You can buy virgin coconut oil from here:Viva Labs Organic Extra Virgin Coconut Oil, 16 Ounce)
Preparation:
Mix the baking soda and starch in a small bowl. Add the coconut oil and stir until you get a smooth and creamy texture. Put the mixture into a small plastic container (or a paper muffin cupcake mold) and keep it in the fridge. Wait until it hardens.
When the mixture hardens, take it out of the mold and there you have your deodorant. If you have an empty deodorant tube (at the bottom you can see a wheel that will help you push the product up for use), you can keep the mixture in it.
You can keep this natural deodorant in a hermetically sealed container in your fridge, if you want it to be solid or at room temperature, if you want to use it as a lotion.
This deodorant works as effectively as any other store-bought deodorant and does not leave any stains on the clothes. If you stick to the measures above, this amount should be enough for a month and a half to two months.
