There are tons of chips, sweets and crazy, crispy stuff, but good hosts will prepare something delicious for their health-conscious guests. Who knows, you may find a small bowl of hummoli!
What is hummoli?
It is a tasty combination of guacamole and hummus, and yes, those who have tried it say it is the best dip out there. Have you ever considered combining world’s best dips?
If not, now is the time to try it. Next time you deal with a stubborn craving for snacks, make yourself some hummoli.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup chickpeas (cooked and cooled, or you can just use canned produce)
- 1 lemon, juiced
- a handful cilantro
- 2 tsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 avocado
- pink Himalayan salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 jalapeño (remove the seeds)
- *Always use organic produce
Preparation:
There are two ways to make your hummoli. If your strongest feature is laziness, just cut your ingredients into chunks and let your blender do the job.
If you are more into cooking and textured dishes, here are some detailed instructions. You will feel almost everything you have added to your hummoli.
Put all the ingredients in a large bowl, except for the herb. Work the mixture using your fork, but you can use whatever you find useful. Add the cilantro once you get the consistency you like, and mash it through.
Transfer your tasty hummoli to a nice fitting bowl and decorate with some cilantro leaves.
Do not get confused by its name. If you call your dip ‘hummoli,’ that does not mean that you food should be dull and bland. Chickpeas pieces will add texture and color to your dip, and you will enjoy your tasty food. Celery snacks are boring, so next time you get in the ‘snacky’ mood, make your self some nice hummoli!
