Video Shows Breathtaking 4K Photos Of Mars Captured By NASA On A Mission To Discover Life On the Red Planet

NASA’s rovers sent high-quality images to Earth, providing a closer look at Mars and the surface of the red planet

ElderFox Documentaries has created an amazing 10-minute video using 4K images taken by three NASA rovers. Each of these images features Mars and the incredible beauty of the red planet. We’ve never seen anything like this before, and this is definitely a pleasant experience.

One video contains over 1,000 high-quality images taken in 2019. It shows Santa Maria Crater, the Burns Cliff, the Marathon Valley Entrance, and many other popular locations on the planet. It’s interesting to note that only the Curiosity rover is fully operational at this point. Spirit and Opportunity sent messages back and then became stuck in mud.

“This is the first time Martian footage has been rendered in stunning, 4K resolution,” the narrator says.

From what we can see, Mars was once a watery planet. In other words, the red planet may have had life in the past.

“The rover was exploring the area named ‘Glen Torridon’ which was theorized to contain large amounts of clay. Clay found on Mars signals the presence of water in the past. At this point, in 2020, the NASA rovers have found irrefutable evidence that Mars was once a watery planet.”

The video was released after sending another rover to Mars, at about 95 million km from our planet. The Perseverance rover was launched from Kennedy Space Centre on the 30th of July. It will land in the Jezero Crater on Mars in February 2021.

This rover is expected to take incredible images like Curiosity with its primary focus being the search for microbial life. It will collect and store Martian rock and dust samples. The rover will be looking for super tiny living organisms on the red planet. If this happens, we would be able to witness the first discovery of alien life forms.

This may be one of the greatest discoveries in the history of mankind. Experts at NASA are full of hopes and expectations. It’s such an extraordinary expedition, and the results will definitely be mindblowing.

“The Mars 2020 mission is part of a larger program that includes missions to the Moon as a way to prepare for human exploration of the Red Planet,” experts at NASA say. “Charged with returning astronauts to the Moon by 2024, NASA will establish a sustained human presence on and around the Moon by 2028 through NASA’s Artemis lunar exploration plans.”
