Birds make our world an enchanting place. With their pleasant melodies, colorful plumages, and joyful flights, birds bring positivity and brighten up our days.
What’s more, they can be of countless kinds, all of them unique in their own way. One majestic bird, colored in all the colors of the rainbow, will charm you! To be honest, its name is a bit silly, but its appearance is just splendid!
Meet the white-browed tit-warbler!
The quirky name comes from its identity as a “Titmouse”, a historical mishearing of “Titmase”. The bird actually belongs to an entire family of rotund, tiny birds known as Bushtits.
Nature lovers from all around the world have fallen in love with these birds with purple-blue bodies, a soft pink belly, a brown top and a pale-colored, usually gray, brow.
These unique birds love in boreal forests and high-altitude regions in Asia, including central China, Russia, and the Himalayas, and eat insects found under roots and rocks.
During the mating season, white-browed tit-warblers generally live in pairs, and at the end of the season, they join flocks of 25 or more members. They give high crisp-sounding notes.
Yet, as they are not easy to spot, take a look at these marvelous photos:
