During the coronavirus pandemic, authorities have issued some measures in an attempt to prevent its spread and flatten the curve. Many thought that being locked inside the house with your significant other will result in constant quarrels.
Erin Davidson, a couples and sex therapist, advises:
“This is a situation where you kind of know what is going to happen so you have time to come up with a game plan. Chat about what to do in moments where things are stressful – normalize that it’s OK if you get on each other’s nerves, and decide on a signal that means ‘OK, we need to take a moment in separate rooms or recognize better communication is needed, or perhaps someone needs a hug or to talk about emotions that are coming up.’”
Yet, some couples thought of some innovative ways to combat the isolation boredom and find fun in the social-distancing and isolation period.

Apparently, women have more fun than men, at least when it comes to boyfriends whose partners have decided to do the job instead of their hairdressers.
As barbershops are closed, men currently have two choices: to leave their hair grow long, or let their girlfriends help them, and hope for the best. Some of them are taking to social media to share snaps of their new hairstyles – done by their girlfriends.
These people out here letting their family or girlfriend cut their hair are crazy 👀 ain’t nobody touching my hair but my barber 😂 ima have to stick this quarantine out 🤷🏾♂️

Many would agree that this is not the right time for experiments and hobbies you have no prior experience for, but the results of some of these attempts are simply hilarious!
Let’s be honest now, they have surely watched several tutorials on YouTube and read a lot about it, as recently, it seems that many have searched ‘How to cut your own hair’ on Google.

Yet, there is always a big difference between theory and practice.
Daniel asked his loved one, Sophie, to shave his hair, but to be longer on top, and shorter at the bottom. Yet, what he got was almost all his hair shaved off, and a jagged tuft resting on top.
It’s a good job we’re self isolating, just let Sophie attempt a skin fade and now it looks like I’m about to nuke America pic.twitter.com/AeDjaHMaAb

Jake showed his girlfriend a photo of the hair look he wanted, short at the back and sides, and longer on top. In the end, he got a solid line shaved around the bottom of his hair.

A twenty-year-old guy, Matt, asked his girlfriend for help, and what he got was an extremely jagged, uneven hairdo, which jumped swiftly from bald to hairy.
Josh, 20, decided to try a bowl cut, but he perhaps had the smallest bowl ever, so he ended up being almost entirely bald.
Can you imagine the faces of these guys when they looked at the mirror after their girlfriends were done?
Well, at least they can be sure their boyfriends will stay at home until the crisis ends!
