Be Careful Who You Trust

My grandmother was the most loving and caring human being I have met in my life.

She was extremely wise and I still remember many of her counsels. One of the things she insisted I should learn was to trust no one. Trust is very fragile and once broken, it’s difficult to piece back together.

Therefore, make sure you are very careful before you confide your secrets to somebody. Act like you trust others, but do not. The wisdom to understand who we should and shouldn’t share certain things with comes with time and experience.

Time will also teach you to be discreet, to be careful with words and to pursue dreams with determination and silence.

You might be the best person in the world, and this still doesn’t mean that others will treat you nice. Sometimes, the people you love the most, turn out to be the ones you can trust the least.

Be careful who you trust. Salt and sugar look the same.
