This Vitamin Deficiency Causes Joint Pain

There are a few vitamins that can cause joint pain when your body is deficient of the appropriate amounts of the vitamin for the processes it is needed to accomplish.
Therefore, it can be tough to determine which vitamin needs boosted in your body in order to alleviate your joint pain. Consider one of the three, or all three listed below, if you have to address a serious issue like joint pain that will not stop on its own.
Vitamin A
Bone growth and cell differentiation are only two of the many processes the body requires Vitamin A in order to complete efficiently. Therefore, bones and connective tissues can be damaged when a body is Vitamin A deficient. Then, joint pain occurs. In order to avoid this possibility, eat more sweet potatoes, carrots, spinach and kale. Pumpkin is also a good source of Vitamin A.
Vitamin C
Vitamin C or Ascorbic Acid is required for collagen production. This is necessary for ligaments, bones and tendons. Therefore, the lack of Vitamin C can result in joint pain as well. In order to avoid this possibility, strawberries and red peppers are good staples to add to the diet.
Vitamin D
Vitamin D deficiency impairs the absorption of calcium. The two work together to keep mineral levels at the desired quantity in the body. Weakened muscles and bones are a result of a lack of Vitamin D, and these in turn can cause joint pain. In order to avoid this, consumption of a multivitamin or some time in the sun each day is recommended.
Vitamin E
Also necessary for the growth of nerves and their proper development, having a deficiency can lead to joint pain that needs addressed. If efforts to deal with this deficiency does not resolve the joint pain, however, it may be a result of more serious issues, so a visit to the doctor would then be in order.
These vitamins can all have an impact on the body that results in joint pain. They also can have other negative effects. Therefore, it is wise to attempt to increase the levels of these vitamins in the body. Then, if the joint pain persists, the consultation with the doctor can evaluate other potential concerns
