1. Salt, Lemon, Rose Water and Glycerin

Make a nice and nourishing mask for your dry heels. You can use it to wash your feet or as a nourishing cream.

Combine a teaspoon of lemon juice, a teaspoon of pure glycerin and a teaspoon of rose water. You can either wash your feet with it, or soak your cotton socks in the mixture and put them on before bedtime. Rinse your feet next morning.

Before you apply the treatment, heal your feet in a healing foot soak. Combine some hot water, crude salt, rose water, glycerin and lemon juice. Soak your feet in for 20 minutes.

2. Vegetable Oil

This can really help you. It softens dry heels instantly and removes any dead skin cells. Gently rub the oil onto affected areas, or soak your cotton socks in some oil and put them on overnight. Rinse next morning. For optimal results, repeat the treatment several times.

3. Banana and Avocado

You can use any fruit to treat your dry heels, but bananas have strong healing properties. Ripe banana pulp will remove dead skin and repair any damage. Apply some mashed banana on the affected area and keep it on for 10 minutes. The results will be more than amazing.

For optimal results, try this banana and avocado mask.

Blend both ingredients and add in some green coconut. Apply the nourishing mask on your feet. Both avocado and coconut are packed with vitamins and essential oils, which work great for dry skin.

4. Vaseline and Lemon Juice

Before you do any of these treatments, make sure your feet are clean. Combine some lemon juice and a teaspoon of vaseline.

Rub it on the critical areas for 20 minutes. Use it once you notice that the skin on your feet has dried.

Do this treatment before you go to bed, because the nourishing mixture can stay on for longer. For optimal results, put on some cotton socks.

5. Paraffin Wax

Paraffin wax is the best remedy for damaged or sore heels. Combine it with some coconut oil. Melt the mixture in a pan. Let it cool for 15-20 minutes, and then apply it on the affected area. For optimal results, keep it on overnight.

6. Honey

If you need an anti-bacterial remedy, honey is the right solution for you.

Stir a cup of honey in some hot water and soak your feet in for 15 minutes. Massage your feet to soften the skin.

7. Rice Flour

Rice flour also works great for cracked heels.

Combine 2-3 tablespoons of ground rice, a few tablespoons of honey and grated apple, then drizzle over some olive oil. Apply the mixture on your cracked heels and leave it on for 10 minutes, so the skin can absorb all the moisture. Rinse well.

8. Olive Oil

It can be used in several different ways.

Apply it using some cotton pads or put on some cotton socks, as every other material absorbs the oil and it has no effect on your skin. Soak your socks in some olive oil and put them on for an hour. Rinse well. You can also use some olive oil to massage your feet for 10-15 minutes.

Use olive oil to make a homemade foot cream. Combine a tablespoon of olive oil, a few drops of lemon essential oil or lavender oil, and pour in equal part of water.

9. Oat Meal

Combine a tablespoon of powdered oatmeal and jojoba oil into a thick paste. Apply it on your cracked heels and leave it on for an hour. Rinse well. For optimal results, do the treatment every other day.

10. Sesame Oil

Massage therapies do miracles for cracked heels. Apply some sesame oil on your feet and massage them gently every evening before bedtime. This is amazing for dry and cracked feet. Repeat the treatment every night and massage your feet until the oil absorbs in your skin.
