Halloween is our favorite time of the year, as, despite the holiday joy, it is the time when we can all get creative and come up with some unforgettable costumes!
Yet, if you have a pet, everything gets even more fun!
Nika and Kira are two adorable huskies that live in Madison, Wisconsin with their owners, Kaitlin and her husband Jonathan. The beauties have a very popular Instagram profile, 2 husketeers, with about 200,000 followers.
According to Kaitlin, they got Nika first and instantly fell in love with her little dot on her forehead and her big blue eyes. Yet, after a couple of years, they realized that she needed a friend, and it was an easy choice to choose another Husky!
As Husky owners say, “Huskies are like potato chips, you can’t have just one!”
She adds that both of them have very dominant personalities, but one day, it just clicked, and they became inseparable companions since. According to Kaitlin, Nika is a loving and caring dog and is usually laid back, except when it comes to her squeaky toys as she hoards them in her bed.
On the other hand, Kira is very energetic and needy, and she does laps around Nika and picks on her all the time.
Last year for Halloween, Nika and Kira, together with their Labrador Retriever friend, were dressed up as the three witches Winnie, Sarah, and Mary, from one of the best Halloween movies ever, Hocus Pocus.
Featuring Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy as the Sanderson sisters, this movie was a real inspiration to many over the years, but this is one of the best examples of all times!
