Iceland Is Opening This Lagoon With A Swim-Up Bar And An Incredible View

Iceland has the most beautiful lagoon under the Northern Lights and tourists have already booked their holiday.

Millions of people across the globe are impressed with Iceland. The Nordic island country covers 40,000 sq miles. About 364,134 people live in the beautiful country in the North Atlantic.

Most of them are concentrated in the country’s capital, Reykjavík which is also the largest city in the country. The city is also a home of the National and Saga museums. There are many geothermal water locations in Reykjavík and this provides sustainable geothermal power.

The coronavirus pandemic has put leisure travel on hold, and Iceland first opened its borders on June 15. Over 900 visitors arrived at Keflavik International Airport on that day.

Nationals of EU/EEA, EFTA and people with a valid residence permit for a Schengen Area country can now enter Iceland without a mandatory 14-day quarantine.

One American didn’t meet the criteria and had to return due to the ban of non-Schengen nationals. Well, travelers outside of the Schengen Zone are allowed to visit Iceland as July 1.

Sky Lagoon is a new oceanfront geothermal retreat in Kársnes Harbor, Kópavogur, and it’s located pretty close to the country’s capital.

The retreat promises to “enable guests to connect with mind, body, and spirit through the radiant powers of geothermal waters while taking in such impressive ocean views,” giving us a chance to get rid of the stress 2020 gives us.

The Atlantic Ocean right there on the front, and visitors can enjoy an unobstructed 23ft infinity edge. There’s a unique swim-up bar and on-site dining. Does it get any better than this? Iceland offers the most beautiful sunsets and sunrises. It has the most beautiful sky and of course, the Northern lights!
