“If I knew that today would be the last time I’d see you, I would hug you tight and pray the Lord be the keeper of your soul. If I knew that this would be the last time you pass through this door, I’d embrace you, kiss you, and call you back for one more. If I knew that this would be the last time I would hear your voice, I’d take hold of each word to be able to hear it over and over again. If I knew this is the last time I see you, I’d tell you I love you, and would not just assume foolishly you know it already.”― Gabriel García Márquez
We are all different, and while some can easily show love and respect, others find it harder to open up. Yet, being introvert means losing numerous chances in life.
Sometimes, opportunity knocks only once in life, or time passes too quickly, so we can lose an important chance to show someone how we feel.
Life has become highly stressful, and while constantly rushing, we never have enough time to truly devote to people and things we really love.
Yet, remember to always take a moment and show gratitude, appreciation, and love to the ones beside you. Also, speak up, reveal your attitudes, show the world your dreams and worth, as a sign of self-respect.
Tomorrow is not promised, and life is just too short to leave important words unsaid. They all deserve to know how much they mean to you but do not wait for the perfect moment or a special occasion. Do it while you can, as life is unpredictable.
A longer-than-usual hug, the three magical words, random help, a day spent with your parents.. you can choose the most appropriate way. Yet, do not forget to show them how much you love them.
Even the strongest relationships have rough spots but learn to move on quickly, apologize and love even deeper.
Forgive. Give them a chance to win back your love again. Don’t hold a grudge, and do not fill your life with negativity and toxic thoughts.
Set down the false pride, soften your heart, and allow love to heal you. Focus on the happiness for having such admirable people in your life, that love and care about you.
Call your friends to tell them that their love has stimulated you to be better and achieve more, hug your children tighter, tell your wife that her unconditional love is the basis of your home, tell your parents that you will never live long enough to thank them for everything they have done for you.
Each moment you spend in their company is a true blessing, a gift that you should cherish.
Do not miss a chance to tell them how much you love them, as you never know when your last encounter will be.
