Drivers In Yellowstone Get Caught In Middle Of Bison Stampede

Spending a day in nature is an incredibly relaxing experience, so national parks are always the place to be!

However, even though we all know that nature and its creatures are unpredictable, not many of you would expect to find themselves in the middle of a bison stampede while there!

Well, this happened to drivers on the Lamar Valley Bridge in Yellowstone National Park back in August 2018. One driver recorded the video of the amazing sight of hundreds of animals within inches of the car!

Yellowstone is the only place in the U.S. where these animals have lived continuously since prehistoric times.

Yellowstone bison comprise the nation’s largest bison population on public land and are among the few bison herds that have not been hybridized.

Thousands of bison roam freely around the region and some nearby areas of Montana. People must have been startled and excited to see the animals in their vicinity!
