Naughty Beagle Peeps Out Of Hole In Sofa When He’s Caught Ripping The Furniture Apart

A naughty beagle puppy was caught on video while peeping out of the hole he has made on the sofa.

Having a pet at home is one of the biggest blessings in life. Yet, getting a pet is not an easy decision. There is no doubt that a cuddly, fluffy, and loving creature in the home has its emotional perks, but pets require training, time, and understanding.

The owner of one naughty beagle puppy is well aware of the challenges that come with having a puppy at home! The pup, called Tua-ngork, kept destroying the furniture when he was caught by his owner.

In the video, the pup is seen looking out of the hole he has just made on the sofa!

However, instead of scolding, his owner, Sirichar, refers to the damage as ‘ a great piece of artwork’ and the little dog goes on demolishing the rest of the couch. The entire event happened in the family’s home in Maha Sarakham, northeastern Thailand, and it was caught on video.

  • Naughty beagle puppy, Tua-ngork, peeps out of the hole he made in the sofa when he is caught by his owner ripping the furniture apart in the family’s house

The clip shows the puppy looking out from a hole he has made on the sofa. The hole only fits his body to get through and he pops out.

Yet, his “masterpiece” is not quite done there, so the puppy goes on tearing the sofa’s sponge apart with his teeth and paws and obviously enjoys it!

A bit later, the camera circles the giant hole made on the sofa. This time, the dog stays hidden on the inside of the couch.

  • Later in the video, his owner shows the huge hole the dog has done on the sofa.

His forgiving owner Sirichar said:

‘My little sweetheart is creating a great piece of artwork. He looks so joyful with biting the couch.’

The video was recorded on September 23 and posted online.

  • Instead of scolding the pet, Sirichar, said:  ‘My little sweetheart is creating a great piece of artwork. He looks so joyful with biting the couch’

Beagles are known for their harmful, destructive, and sometimes unruly behavior which has roots in the breed’s origin as a hunting dog.

Lots of energy in a closed place can lead to boredom – and thus to destructive actions.

According to a study by Good Move, that analyzed pet owners across the UK, beagles were classified at number 6 on the list of most destructive pets, with the top spot being reserved for the Moggie cat.

Last year, a pair of naughty beagles were called the naughtiest dogs in Britain – since they destroyed over £6,000- worth designer handbags and shoes, which belonged to their owner.

Incredible Photos Show Full Moon Looking Like Giant Eye As It Passes Rock Arch In Utah

A photographer captures the full moon passing across a rock arch in Utah, and the result is spectacular!

The world we live in is one astonishing place. If we stop taking things for granted and allow our senses to perceive the beauty around us, we would be more than grateful!

Yet, most often, it is artists that draw our attention to the splendor of nature. The astonishing photo of a full moon passing through a rock arch taken by one gifted nature photographer is another proof of this!

Zack Cooley captured the marvelous sight at Arches National Park, Utah, on October 28.

In his photos, you can see the full moon passing across the rock arch and floating in the middle of it, resembling a big and mysterious eye, staring with anger at the viewer.

Fascinating!

  • After months of planning, Zach Cooley captured this amazing shot at the perfect moment at Arches National Park in Utah at the end of October

Zach said:

“Planning for this shot was difficult and it began several months in advance.

Despite cross-referencing the moon position in multiple applications, there’s nothing close to a guarantee you’ll be in the right place, just a few steps in any direction and you won’t get the shot.

I had never been so nervous for a photo as the moment approached, and never happier with the result of planning as the moon appeared where I was hoping and passed perfectly through the arch.”

It’s truly a masterpiece! The rare photo of the moon framed by the rock arch has gone viral, with netizens simply loving it!

One follower commented:

“Eye love what you did here.”

Another wrote:

“WOW!!! One of the best and most unique photos I’ve ever seen!!!”

  • Zach said that despite the preparation, there was still no guarantee he’d be in the right place at the right time to capture the incredible sight

Arches National Park is located in eastern Utah, next to the Colorado River. As its name suggests, the 76,000- acre park is famous for its 2,000 and more natural sandstone arches.

The Delicate Arch is the most famous of them all, and it is a 52-feet-tall freestanding arch. It’s one of the most famous natural sights in the state, found on Utah license plates and a commemorative stamp.

Moreover, the massive Balanced Rock can be found next to the main road of the park, balancing freely at about 55 feet off the ground, with a weight similar to an ice-breaker ship.

The National Park Service has forbidden all climbing on any of the mentioned arches during the whole year after one man famously climbed Delicate Arch in 2006. Placing anchors for slacklining is also forbidden.

Adorable Moment Baby Chimp Laughs For First Time After Getting A Tickle From Zookeeper

Adorable footage shows an 11-week-old chimp laughing while she is being tickled for the first time.

Life is tough, but it seems to get tougher with time. We lead stressed and hectic lifestyles, so we all need a good laugh every now and then. However, cute little animals and their adorable habits and reactions can always brighten up our day!

The following video of an 11-week old baby chimp laughing while being tickled for the first time by her zookeeper carers will melt your heart!

The zoo captioned the video as follows:

“Hear chimpanzee Maisie laugh for the first time! Making a play face and laughing is a natural chimp behavior and a milestone chimp babies typically reach between 12 to 16 weeks.”

This August, the Oklahoma City Zoo was happy to welcome the baby chimp, Maisie. Yet, after the mother rejected motherhood, the chimp was moved to Maryland Zoo to be hand-reared.

The adorable chimp loves to play with toys and learns to interact. At the beginning of this month, Maisie was playing with human baby toys and was filmed while giggling with a wide grin at carers, who tickled her under her arms.

Before the carer takes her to meet the rest of the chimps, she plays with the baby toys and checks herself in a mirror.

  • Maisie is now taken care of by zookeepers, and she will eventually be paired with a surrogate chimp mum

  • The 11-week- old chimp laughs for the first time as the zookeeper tickles her

Maisie was born weighing approximately 4lb to first-time mother Nia, a 12-year-old chimpanzee, on August 28. Currently, she is being taken care of by zookeepers, but she will eventually be paired with a surrogate chimp mum.

To ensure her wellbeing, the Chimp Forest Animal Care team works in three shifts around the clock.

Pam Carter, area manager, explained:

“Maisie drinks baby formula every three hours, sleeps, and has some playtime every day to help strengthen her muscles. We also wear a shirt and blanket that have fringe material sewn on that helps her learn to grip.”

  • The little chimp was born at the Oklahoma City Zoo in late August but moved to Maryland Zoo after her birth mum rejected motherhood

Chimps are highly social animals. They can also stand and walk upright, even though they normally walk on all fours.

Scientists have shown that chimps learn at the same rate as humans – gross motor skills begin to emerge at around four months, communication traits at 12 months, social interaction skills at 14 months, and fine motor skills at 15 months.

They can live up to 50, and care for their offspring for years. Unfortunately, chimpanzees are enlisted as endangered, since they have already disappeared from four countries.

Hero Dog Saves Four Patients From Inferno At Hospice After Running Into Building To Raise Alarm

After running into a Russian hospice to raise the alarm for fire in the building, a hero dog saved the lives of four residents but suffered severe burns.

There is a reason why dogs are our best companions in life. These incredibly devoted, loyal, brave, and affectionate creatures have proved their readiness to risk their lives for us a million times before.

Recently, one amazing dog saved the lives of four people at a Russian hospice, after running inside the building to raise the alarm about the fire.

Matilda, the dog, was pregnant and is now recovering from severe burns after she passed out due to carbon monoxide fumes during the fire in the region of Leningrad.

After the fire service was called, they saved all four residents of the private hospice. However, mongrel Matilda was saved later by volunteers Elena Kalinina and Alexander Tsinkevich, and the poor dog suffered grievous injuries.

It was reported that she ‘cried and trembled in pain, but heroically endured everything’.

  • Matilda suffered severe burns after running into the hospice and saving the lives of four residents from the raging fire

  • After the severe injuries, animal campaigners at Vasilek shelter in St Petersburg are fighting so save Matilda

  • The fire service saved all four residents of the private hospice, but Matilda was rescued later by volunteers

Animal campaigners at Vasilek shelter in St Petersburg are now struggling to save Matilda after the severe burns.

They stated:

“Matilda’s face, neck, and abdomen were severely burned. She was checked by a fertility specialist who looked at her for a very long time and carefully studied the puppies. They are all alive and developing well.

Now it is impossible to understand the number of babies she is carrying, since she is a big dog.”

  • The face, neck, and abdomen of the dog were severely burned, but her puppies are alive and developing well

  • Much of her fur and nose are burned off

  • Volunteers Elena Kalinina (left) and Alexander Tsinkevich (right) who saved Matilda

Unfortunately, her nipples are badly injured, and Matilda – known as Motya – will not be able to feed her puppies.

Killer Whales Are Killing Great White Sharks To Eat Their Livers

A government-appointed panel determined that killer whales off the coast of South Africa are killing great white sharks and eating their livers.

The decreasing number of white sharks on the coast of South Africa in the last several years has puzzled scientists. Initially, the cause of death remained a mystery as no dead sharks were recovered for examination.

Experts initially pointed their fingers to humans, but the discovery of more dead sharks and examination of the carcasses eventually showed that killer whales, or orcas, are the culprits.

Orcas were found to rip out the fatty livers of their unfortunate white shark prey with their teeth! According to scientists, this behavior might explain the disappearance of great whites from the waters of False Bay, off the coast of Cape Town.

In the last few years, more than seven great white shark carcasses have washed ashore in False Bay, and they all had telltale teeth marks that showed they were savaged by orcas.

Scientists were seriously concerned about the steep decline of the population of great whites in Cape Town. They have suggested that it might be a result of various factors, including illegal hunting, overfishing, and even climate change.

However, the team of government experts maintains there may be a ‘causative link’ between their decline and the appearance of a pod of orcas specialized in preying on white sharks.

  • In the last several years, at least seven great white shark carcasses have washed ashore in False Bay, all of them with telltale teeth marks that show they were savaged by orcas.

According to the report of a panel of experts gathered by South Africa’s Minister of Environment Barbara Creecy, the disappearance of the great white sharks near Cape Town was ‘more likely a shift in distribution … as a result of recent orca occurrence and predation, rather than being related to the fishing activity.’

Creecy explained that these sharks have had “a devastating impact on the shark-diving industry and caused immense disappointment to the hundreds of tourists who visit our shores to see this great predator.”

In the period between 2010 and 2016, great whites appeared in False Bay over 200 times annually, as reported by the conservation organization Shark Spotters. There were only 50 sightings by 2018, and last year- none.

The only sighting this year was after 20 months, in False Bay, this January.

  • Since 2017, the population of great white sharks is dramatically dropping, and this threatens eco-tourism in the region

  • Scientists have found numerous reasons for the absence of the sharks, but a panel of government experts believe they’re being scared off by another apex predator, the killer whale

  • Between 2010 and 2016 shark spotters recorded over 200 great white sightings a year at False Bay, near Seal Island. Last year, no sharks were spotted and only one has been seen so far in 2020.

A pair of killer whales, nicknamed Port and Starboard, was first seen in the area in 2015. Two years later, the remains of five great whites were found nearby on a beach in Gansbaai. They had teeth marks on the carcasses, and their livers have been ripped out.

Experts explain that Port and Starboard have developed a taste for squalene, an organic chemical compound found in abundance in shark liver oil. This year, another shark killed in a similar fashion was found on a beach.

According to Alison Kock, a marine biologist and one of the researchers, there could be many more:

“Each and every time that this happened, there was an immediate drop and gap in white shark sightings.”

Ms. Kock added that they” still don’t have all the answers”.

All over the world, orcas have been found preying on great white sharks. According to one 2019 study, the sharks immediately abandon the hunting ground when they encounter them, and stay away for up to a year.

South Africa is home to a diverse array of Chondrichthyes, including some of the largest populations of over 180 different kinds of sharks, rays, and chimeras, 30 % of which are endemic.

Sadly, 14 shark species, native to the country, are considered endangered or critically endangered.

  • Environmental minister Barbara Creecy says that the disappearance of the great white ‘has had a devastating impact on the shark-diving industry and caused immense disappointment to the hundreds of tourists who visit our shores to see this great predator.’

Most of this loss is attributed to habitat degradation and illicit fishing practices. Creecy explained that “their disappearance can be ascribed to a combination of illegal gillnetting and degradation of their estuarine habitat. “

Therefore, she suggested a compromise between fishers and tour operators, regarding ‘consumptive and non-consumptive use of sharks’, and added:

“The impact of fishing on the ocean’s biodiversity is undeniable and sharks are no exception. Many shark species produce few, live young, and cannot withstand unregulated fishing pressure.”

51-Year-Old Woman Pregnant With Her Grandchild Gives Birth To Her Daughter’s Baby

Earlier this month, a 51-year old woman gave birth to her first grandchild, her daughter’s baby.

Our family is our safe place, the only spot in the world where we can always find love, comfort, understanding, and help. Yet, life often requires sacrifices, and the one this mother made has changed the lives of her entire family.

Earlier this month, on November 2, Julie Loving, 51, gave birth to her granddaughter and made her daughter, Breanna Lockwood, 29, happy beyond belief.

Breanna wrote an Instagram post:

“My mom was an absolute rockstar through a difficult delivery. The sacrifices she took to bring this little slice of heaven into our world takes my breath away. Holding my daughter in my arms my heart is bursting. The feeling of how I would do absolutely anything needed for this child is radiating through me when I look at her and reflects back on what my mom did for me.”

The amazing grandma, Julie, said it has been “a textbook pregnancy”.

In loving homage to the incredible woman, Breanna named the baby Briar Juliette Lockwood. This marvelous story was not always this happy.

Namely, Breanna and her husband Aaron had been trying to have a child for a long time.

It had been a long and incredibly difficult emotional struggle. Lockwood admits that “struggling with infertility was the hardest thing” she has ever had to do.

She had gone through 476 injections, 64 blood draws, 4 unsuccessful embryo transfers out of 8 IVF frozen embryo transfers, 7 surgeries, 1 miscarriage, 1 twin miscarriage, as well as an ectopic pregnancy.

Moreover, a pregnancy removal procedure left her with damaged scar tissue in her uterus, so she no longer had other options but to find a gestational carrier.

At this point, her mother came to the rescue.

Breanna was initially skeptical:

“My mama came to me multiple times offering to carry for us. My response? I laughed. “you crazy!?” lol… I did not think that was even possible. My mom, Julie, is 51 years old and had already been through menopause! But she was persistent. One thing about my mom is when she sets her mind to something, she goes for it. She’s a hardcore athlete, who’s completed multiple Boston marathons and super into health and fitness. She sets a goal and she goes for it.”

Breanna’s fertility specialist, Dr. Brian Kaplan of Fertility Centers of Illinois explained that the entire procedure is unavailable for most Americans, as it costs over $100,000.

He added:

“My immediate reaction was, ‘This is not a good thing. Normally, a gestational carrier should be under 40 years, but in medicine, you have to look at an individual and personalize it.”

Yet, the numerous tests showed that Julie was fit to be a surrogate mother, and she got pregnant the “very first time with the very first embryo.” In the update, Breanna explained that both, her mother, and her baby, are “fantastic and healthy”.

She said that she and her husband can’t wait to tell their daughter that she was “wanted so much that we did everything we could to bring you into the world.” Loving added that she also looks forward to the day that she can tell her granddaughter about how she carried her for nine months.

What an incredible story of love!

Donor Heart Dropped On Floor By Medic Moments After Helicopter Delivering It Crashes On The Hospital’s Roof

While carrying a donor heart, a chopper crashed on top of an LA hospital.

Even with appropriate precautions, even a relatively short domestic flight carries moderate risks. Yet, an accident that happened only recently is surely not something we hear about every now and then.

Unbelievable footage shows the moment the helicopter loses control, starts spinning, and veered toward the edge of the roof before landing on its side.

In the video, a person below can be heard shouting:

“Hey! Oh my God, oh my God, oh my God.”

Thankfully, the three people on board suffered no consequences and the donated heart was still intact – even though it was dropped on the ground.

The private helicopter crash-landed on the helipad of the Keck Hospital of the University of Southern California, as it came from San Diego to bring the life-saving delivery.

Apparently, the helicopter had to be opened with the ‘jaws of life‘ tool, or hydraulic rescue tools, to save the donor heart.

The rescue workers handed the organ to a medical worker, who promptly turned around and rushed inside the hospital. Yet, as he walked away from the crash scene, a medical officer was tripping and dropping it.

Luckily, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD), the organ was safe and unharmed and it was delivered to the hospital.

A hospital spokesperson later explained that the heart was successfully transplanted into a patient a few hours after the crash.

It was explained that the helicopter’s blades smashed during the crash, and hospital staff said they felt it from inside the multi-story building.

Passersby outside went running after debris fell from the chopper. Javier Chamorro, 59, was waiting to pick up his kid in front of the building when the helicopter crashed.

He said:

“The building shook. I thought it was an earthquake.”

In the aftermath video, you can see the pilot as they take him away from the crashed chopper.

He was received in the hospital to be treated for small injuries, while the two people who were on board with him refused medical assistance, and escaped the terrifying rooftop crash uninjured.

 LAFD said:

“The aircraft is stable on its side, on the helipad. There does not appear to be a significant fuel leak. The donated organ that was being transported was safely retrieved by LAFD firefighters and handed over to USC-County Hospital staff.”

Reportedly, the National Transportation Safety Board investigates the incident. As Meg Aldrich of Keck Hospital concluded, this is actually “ an amazing story’!

Moment Gorilla Gently Tries To Coax Injured Bird To Fly After It Lands In Its Zoo Enclosure

Footage shows a large gorilla while trying to help an injured bird as it lands in its enclosure.

Life in the animal kingdom is tough. Therefore, animals often help each other, most commonly if they are closely related, or live together.  Scientists believe this is based on self-preservation, as they identify as members of the same group.

However, many stories prove that animals actually have strong altruistic tendencies. The moment a gorilla jumped across its enclosure to help an injured bird melted the hearts of many!

The video shows the moment the huge gorilla approaches the wounded bird while it is laying on the grass.

  • The gorilla, pictured, spotted the stricken bird in its enclosure in a New South Wales zoo

  • The gorilla, pictured, spent around a minute tending to the stricken bird

The gorilla picks the bird up after a few moments examining the animal closely on the ground. After a few moments, the gorilla gently grasps the bird, and gently pushes it forward, evidently trying to make the bird fly, and help it flap its wings again!

Yet, after about a minute, the primate gave up and walked away. It is believed that the bird hit the glass around the enclosure and knocked itself out.

The witness who recorded the video said that she was amazed by the way the large gorilla treated the bird.

She added:

“It walked over to the bird and tried very gently to get the bird to fly away. When the bird didn’t fly away, the gorilla walked away without ever harming it. “

Amazing!

  • Visitors to the zoo were amazed at the way the gorilla tended to the bird

Why Many People Agree That The ‘Shopping Cart Test’ Is the Way To Determine If Someone Is A Good Person

One Twitter user posted a theory that sparked quite a lot of conversation online- Do you return the shopping cart at the grocery store?

Social media are increasingly becoming an arena for public debate. Platforms encourage discussions on all kinds of subjects and help people stay engaged and be exposed to new information and different points of view.

One such debate has garnered much attention- and it is actually a very simple personality test.

Namely, one Twitter user suggested the “ shopping cart theory”, which reveals people’s personalities based on whether they return the shopping cart to its designated spot after use or not.

This supposedly character-defining theory goes like this:

People who put the cart away, back in the store, or in the parking lot carousel, even though you are not obligated to, and won’t be sanctioned in any way, are kind, and considerate.

On the other hand, those who leave the cart to be collected by the store’s employees, are the opposite.

The author of the theory concludes that “the shopping cart is what determines whether a person is a good or bad member of society.”

Well, let’s analyze it a bit.

We have to admit, it does make sense. Being kind does not cost a thing, and except for extreme emergencies, there is no justified excuse to not make a little effort and take a few moments of your time to take back your cart and help someone else.

On the contrary, it is not illegal to leave the cart either. You are not obligated in any way to do it, and you won’t be fined or banned if you don’t return it. That is exactly what makes the gesture kind and considerate.

This theory, therefore, argues that those who care for others and want to ease their life have a good heart. The ones who care for themselves only are lazy and selfish.

The theory was posted on Twitter by a user named Jared and it initiated a lot of debates. However, most users agreed with it.

One user named Bekah responded:

“Idk I just feel like as someone who once worked a retail job, I might not be required to put it back but the guy working would really appreciate it so I might as well make someone else’s day easier?? Idk it’s more about respect for the worker and not the unspoken societal law.”

Twitter user Sam replied to her comment:

“I mean yeah that’s the idea. having that level of respect and consideration for a stranger is what makes you a “good member of society”.”

On the contrary, others gave some good reasons for not returning the cart, even if it is not an emergency.

One user wrote:

“A good reason not to return it is if you are alone, with young children, and you are too far from the return to leave your kids alone in the car.”

Some Twitter users claimed that returning the carts is someone’s job, and considering that they are simply trying to help them keep their job, get more hours, and make more money.

People who had worked or still do were quick to explain that these claims are inadequate.

They explained that grocery stores don’t hire workers just to collect carts, and that is just one of the many things they have to do. It is not an opportunity for them to make more money or get more working hours.

Furthermore, they explained that this job, in fact, is very hard in extreme conditions, such as freezing cold, pouring rain, or extreme heat. Therefore, it is much easier for an individual to take a few moments and take back the cart.

It seems that this is an endless debate. There is even an entire Twitter account dedicated to it called Cart Narcs!

Additionally, some explained that the theory generalizes things, which is not adequate.

Ashlee Boyer maintained that is not fair because it doesn’t allow for people with disabilities:

“How about we don’t judge someone’s character based on physical ability? Like, ever? I can see an instance where someone with a chronic condition has a flare-up and it’s all they can do to get the cart to their car.”

Many questioned her claims as well.

They said that in case a person can get the cart, use it for shopping inside the store, and take it to the car, it is then logical that he can return it. Nevertheless, the consensus is the theory refers to those who have no real reason not to return their cart, and not for the ones who are physically incapable.

In general, people agreed that people who don’t return their grocery carts are lazy, inconsiderate, and self-centered.

What do you think? Do you agree?
