Japan Opens Life-Sized Godzilla Park Where You Can Zip-Line Into The King Of The Monster’s Mouth

Godzilla fans will be able to fly into the monster’s head once they visit the Japanese theme park.

Can you imagine landing in the mouth of Godzilla? Well, now you have a chance to do that. Of course, you have to go to Japan to turn your dreams into reality.

We are in the middle of the worst year ever, and Japan decided to entertain both locals and tourists. The Japanese opened the first Godzilla Museum, offering life-sized creations. Mecha from the Gundam series is there and so is the King of the Monsters.

The museum has opened as an expansion to the Nijigen no Mori. It’s an amusement park at Awaji Island in Hyogo Prefecture, Japan. Godzilla’s statue will be one of the main attractions. There’s also a zipline taking tourists straight into the monster’s mouth. Sadly, you won’t have to deal with its dreaded atomic breath. Just kidding.

The initial opening of the Godzilla Museum is held from Aug. 8 until the last day of the month. There will be 80 figures from the series. Are you a fan of giant monsters? Kids will love the Chibi Godzilla exhibit.

Organizers are working on the second phase of the museum. The zipline will take you through the gaping mouth of a 400-foot statue of the “God of Destruction” created after his final form in Shin Godzilla (2016).

The scenario represents Godzilla landing on Awaji Island. Scary and exciting!

Godzilla Interception Strategy

If you are in for a mission, you can enlist as a scientist for the “Godzilla Interception Operation – National Godzilla Awajishima Research Center.” This gives you a chance to take part in a duel with the ancient monster. The experience offers a shooting game with special guns and a zip line quest. There’s one way to go straight into the monster’s body through its mouth.

The “Godzilla Interception Strategy” gives fans a chance to sample many specialties. This includes desserts teeming with eyes, rice dishes with dinosaurs paw prints and hotdogs that look like the beast in his second form from Shin Godzilla.

And last but not least, visitors can buy kaiju-themed cups, pewter badges, notepads, t-shirts and fingerless gloves for 3600 Yen or USD $34.

History of Godzilla or Gojira

Godzilla or Gojira as Japanese like to call it, is one of the most popular film franchises to be created in Japan. It was first introduced in Ishirō Honda’s 1954 film Godzilla.

Japan went through many catastrophes, including the 1945 atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

Godzilla has been an inspiration for many films, animated series, video games, and creative projects that draw inspiration from the original kaiju.

Shin Godzilla represents the cataclysmic wrath of the monster. Remember the scene when Godzilla lays waste to a big city in response to the military attack?
