Missing Dog Returns Home With Two New Friends He’d Made Along The Way

True friendship doesn’t have rules. We often say that our friends are the family we get to choose, but animals, especially dogs, are often much more experienced and dedicated to this bond than humans.

And time spent with friends is much more valuable when filled with joy, adventures, and fun.    Kyle and Laura Krier were distraught when their black Lab, Bo, disappeared from the yard.

It snuck away from his Concordia home for an adventure while outside to relieve himself.

Kyle wrote in a post online:

“My wife Laura told me there was another white dog in our yard and Bo took off and would not come back. We looked all over the place for him and could not find him. We decided to go home and wait for him to come back but he never did. I went out in the morning to look for him and found no sign of him anywhere.”

Having given up almost all hope of their furry friend returning, the Kriers were delighted to hear the good news when Laura received a call:

“My wife got a call that someone had just about hit a black lab, a white lab and a goat on the road. My wife called me and told me the news and I knew right away that was our dog. I left work right away. I saw the crew out in a cut bean field on the east side of the highway.”

Video captures the moment as Bo recognized his owner and comes running through the Kansas cornfield back to him. His new friend, a white Labrador followed him, and Kyle encourages their third friend, a goat, to jump in too:

“Hey goat you wanna get in my truck too? Hop in! Get in the back. Just make yourself at home.”

All three of the best friends seemed very happy to be around one another as they climbed inside the car.

Moreover, the other dog and the goat were familiar to the Kriers.

The pair are named Ozzy and Libby, and belong to the Kriers’ neighbors, Chris and Shawna Huggans.

Shawna said:

“It’s difficult to say if Bo the black Lab or Libby and Ozzy were the culprit in starting the adventure. But, nonetheless, they escaped. They’re pals for sure.”

Krier said:

“It was one of those stories that you tell your family and friends and they don’t believe you. But then you watch the video and it totally happened.”

He added:

“It is funny. Bo is crazy, he is full of energy and always up to something. He’s a nice, sweet dog.”

That is why we expect many more adventures of the trio in the future!
